We made it home last night around 10:45 after a stop in Austin for some Freebirds World Burritos. Mmmm. Even Caleb and Anna love the place! The running from Ike was a much needed personal retreat, and we're immensely thankful that Corpus was spared, especially since we were the target for quite some time in the forecasts. Our prayers go out to those in the Houston area who were affected.
For now, it's back to cleaning, de-boarding the windows (is that a word?), back to school, and back to the everyday grind. I'll get some posts up soon, I hope! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers while we traveled!
